My name is Catherine, and I am the proud owner of Catherine’s K9 Care. I have always loved dogs from a young age and owned my first dog aged 10. I have four dogs of my own and have owned dogs for almost 30 years.
In 2015, I applied for a home boarding licence with my local council and boarded over 600 dogs over six years. During this time, I learnt so much about dog body language and different breed traits, which helped me become the professional dog walker I am today.
I recently reapplied for my home boarding licence through Dorset Council after a few years focusing on the dog walking side of my business. I have been awarded a 4-star Higher Standards Licence. I am also a local, professional dog walker, offering a variety of options for your dog’s exercise and wellbeing. I offer group dog walks and puppy visits.
I cover a 5-mile radius from my home in Sturminster Marshall for walks. The main areas I cover are Broadstone, Corfe Mullen, Lytchett Matravers, and Merley, as well as other areas within my radius, making my dog walking services ideal for those searching for a “dog walker near me.”
The groups I walk are a maximum of 5 to ensure safety and to make sure they all get the attention and fun they deserve during the walk. I offer a range of pet walking services that include different walking locations such as local heathlands, county parks, woods, recreation areas, and beaches, ensuring that your dog enjoys a variety of stimulating environments.
All the dogs are crated in my vehicle for safety during transit, and I am first-aid trained and carry a well-equipped first-aid kit in my vehicle at all times, so you can trust that your pet is in safe hands.
For added peace of mind, I am DBS checked and insured with third-party liability insurance from Protectivity, a specialist pet insurance company. Whether you are looking for “dog walking near me” or "local dog walking services," you can rely on Catherine’s K9 Care to provide the best for your pet.
I have 10 years of experience as a professional dog walker, working with a variety of breeds. My job is to make sure your dog is well-exercised, stimulated, and has fun in a safe environment.
Whether you need puppy visits, daycare, home boarding or group dog walking, Catherine’s K9 Care is here to meet all your pet care needs. Covering Sturminster Marshall, Wimborne, Colehill, Broadstone, Corfe Mullen, Lytchett Matravers and Merley.
